Who is behind Drakka Viking Shields?

What are your shields made of?
Most of our shields are made out of 15mm thick birch plywood, and finished with various wood staining and varnishing with linen seed oil and acrylic transparent coating. The finishing will vary depending on each shield style. You can find more information on each product description 

 

Are your shields and weapons Battle Ready?  

Several of them are battle ready, while others are more costume or display models.  You should be able to get a good idea of what the item is used for from the description. Battle ready means they are historical quality weapons. However, this does not mean they can be used in blade-on-blade combat. Stage combat swords are specifically designed for this purpose.  Please contact if you have any questions about specific items.
